“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.” – O. Fred Donaldson
“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard Shaw
As a child I was allowed to play long and hard. Of course we had to make sure it was not during the hottest parts of the day and not on punishment. Lol I remember my cousins and I used t play and imagine many things until the sun went down and the mosquitos came trying to bite as many times as possible. We had to then move to the house where we had to be more contained, but we still managed to have things everywhere.
Play these days involve many video games. When we were growing up, there were games like "mother may I",
"red light green light" "freeze tag" and "hide and seek."
Play is something that is always rekindled when me and childhood friends get together or with cousins. It gives ways of realizing how much you have grown and changed. I know I am always told that I am still the same and as genuine as I used to be and most of all VERY SILLY TEHEHE.
